Who is Naluri?
Naluri is a health and wellness provider that empowers you to develop healthy lifestyle habits, achieve meaningful health outcomes, and be healthier and happier through personalised coaching, structured programmes, self-guided lessons, and health tools and devices.
 
How will PETRONAS MYFRIENDS Employee Assistance Programme help me?
Petronas myFriends Employee Assistance Programme is a comprehensive health and wellness programme brought to you by Petronas in partnership with Naluri. This programme is designed to help you manage your mental and physical health through structured multi-disciplinary behavioural and psychological coaching in a way that is twice as effective as medication alone, four times as cost-efficient and much more accessible.  
 
Can I chat with the coaches whenever I want?
Yes! Chat via the Naluri App is asynchronous, so you can send a message to your preferred coach anytime you’d like, and our coaches will get back to you within 24 hours.  
 
What is the difference between health coaching and therapy?
Naluri's health coaching offers day-to-day support to help you stay on track to achieving your health goal. Coaching support is unlimited during the duration of the programme and is available 24/7, whereas therapy is only available for 60 minutes (one-off or monthly), and sessions are scheduled in advance. These sessions are designed to deepen your self-awareness and help you better process your thoughts and feelings. That being said, both coaching and therapy complement each other, where coaching offers regular check-ins to help you work through the lessons, skills and exercises that are assigned through therapy.
 
When should I start considering therapy?
When you have persistent negative thoughts or feelings that affect your daily life (e.g. easily agitated, disproportionately angry, overwhelmed, stressed, demotivated, fatigued, social withdrawal, anxious), it is highly recommended to schedule a 60-minute therapy session with a Naluri Clinical Psychologist. This will help you work through any issues or negative thoughts that you are facing and develop a strategy to overcome them.  
 
How do I schedule a therapy session, and how much does it cost?
As part of the Petronas myFriends Employee Assistance Programme, therapy sessions are free! You can schedule a session with your preferred coach here.
Naluri's Digital App
What is the compatibility operating system of the Naluri App?
If the latest version of the Naluri App is available, you will receive a notification on your phone. For the Naluri app to work on your device, you would require:
  • Android users Version 5.0 Lollipop or later.
  • iOS users Version 9.0 or later If your phone’s operating system is not compatible with the app, we suggest that you update to the latest software version available on your mobile device.
  • For iOS users, you can do so by going to Settings -> General-> Software Update. Click on Install Now.
  • For Android users, you may go to Settings -> About device-> System Update. Click on Check for Updates. Click ‘Download’ or ‘Yes’ to install.  

I'm experiencing some technical issues with the Naluri App. What should I do?

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues! Please try relaunching the app and checking if your app has been updated to the latest version, as we are constantly improving and regularly releasing new versions to serve you better.

If you are still experiencing technical issues after updating your app to the latest version, please call us at +6010 226 4771 or email support@naluri.life with the following:

  • Your phone model
  • Your current Android/iOS version
  • The strength of your internet connection (5G, 4G, 3G or Wi-Fi)
  • A screenshot of the technical issue
Confidentiality and Privacy
Will the information I share with Naluri be shared with my company?
At Naluri, we take data privacy and protection seriously. Your personal is kept private and confidential to the highest degree and is never, under any circumstances, shared or sold, not even to your employer. Your personal data is collected to serve you better, as the Naluri Health Coaching Team uses your health profile to curate a health improvement programme just for you. Naluri is proudly HIPAA compliant. Your personal data is:
  • Encrypted (in transit and at rest)
  • Anonymised (not linked to you) 
  • Aggregated for insights 
Can I change the psychologist that has been assigned to me?
Yes! We understand that building trust with your coach is important in your health journey. If you would like to change your psychologist and have any preferences, please do let Nani know via the Naluri App.
 
Who will have access to my health journal entries on the Naluri App?
Your dedicated Naluri coaching team (which you can view in the Chat tab) will have access to your entries in your health journals (e.g. Food Journal, Thought Journal) if access is granted. We recommend granting access, as your coaches use your entries to build a personalised health plan that incorporates all aspects of health and helps you better achieve your health goal.
Remote Therapy Standards & Guidelines Who are my consultants? 
Consultants are assigned based on your preferred language & geographical region. Consultants are also qualified & certified to practice in their respective regions.

I would like someone outside my geographical region to be my consultant - how do I do that? 

Depending on the region, some of our consultants can practice beyond their assigned country. However, this is subject to availability & we highly recommend to explore your options within your region first.

Please speak to your Care Coordinator in the app should you wish to explore this option further.
